A clear route out of Hampshire
Living on the south coast has one real advantage for a move abroad: the crossings are close. Portsmouth’s continental ferry port sits right here, and Dover and the Eurotunnel are a straightforward run east. Southampton’s great docks are part of the county’s character — our European moves travel by road and ferry, planned end to end.

The route →Considered, not chaotic
A move across a county the size of Hampshire has a lot of moving parts — two cities with very different access, market towns with narrow historic streets, and a commuter north that runs on the M3. We plan for the ground we’re actually working on, not a generic checklist.
You get one team from the first call to the last box, an itemised quote you can read, and a crew who’ve carried a wardrobe down a Portsmouth terrace stair and eased a lorry onto a Southampton waterfront loading bay. That local knowledge is the difference between a move that runs and one that stalls.
- One team, start to finishThe people who quote your move plan and run it.
- An itemised quoteYou can see what each part covers — no mystery lines.
- County-wide knowledgeCity access, permits and rural lanes, planned before the day.
- Insured throughoutGoods-in-transit and liability cover as standard.
Questions people ask us
Do you cover the whole of Hampshire?
We do. Southampton and Portsmouth are the two hubs we work most, but the county is our patch — Winchester and the mid-Hampshire villages, Basingstoke and the north, Eastleigh, Fareham, Andover and Aldershot included. If you’re moving within Hampshire, or in or out of it, we can help.
How is a quote worked out?
It starts with a short survey — a video walk-round on your phone or a visit if you’d prefer. That tells us the volume, the access at both ends and anything awkward to plan for. The written quote that follows is itemised, so you can see what each part of the move covers.
Can you handle the access problems around the cities?
That’s daily work for us. Portsmouth’s island streets are dense and often permit-controlled; Southampton has waterfront blocks with loading bays and lifts to book. We check parking, permits and access before the day so the lorry has somewhere legal to load and nothing holds the move up.
Do you move abroad as well as within Hampshire?
Yes. Alongside county moves we run a European arm from Hampshire to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal — a road move via the south-coast ports and the Channel, with the customs paperwork prepared for you. It’s the same team who handle your local move.
Is my move insured?
Yes. Goods-in-transit and public liability cover come as standard, and we’ll explain what the cover means before you book. Tell us at the survey about anything high-value or unusual and we’ll note how it’s protected.
Tell us about your move.
Send us where you’re moving from and to, and roughly what needs to travel. We’ll read it properly and email back a clear, itemised quote. No obligation.
